Job Description
Role Summary
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React for frontend development and Node.js for backend services. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications in a cloud-enabled environment while supporting healthcare digital platforms for Optum.
The role requires experience in modern JavaScript frameworks, API development, and cloud-based microservices architectures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop scalable frontend applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Deploy and maintain applications in AWS or Azure environments.
- Implement best practices in performance optimization and security.
- Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners and architects.
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following engineering standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Required Skills
- 6–8 years experience in Full Stack development
- Strong expertise in React.js and Node.js
- Experience in REST API development
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
