SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Consultant to join their project immediately on a long term contract. The ideal candidate should have 10 + years of experience in SAP FI/CO, with a strong focus on AR, AP, GL, and financial processes, along with proven experience in full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations (at least 3 end to end projects preferred). Required expertise includes jurisdiction based tax calculation, withholding taxes, tax determination on sales and purchasing, DMEE payment file configuration for EFT, ACH, and Wire, EBS (Electronic Bank Statement) posting configuration, BCM (Bank Communication Management), and FCC (Financial Closing Cockpit) implementation. This will be a primarily remote role, however, it requires travel to Vancouver 50% of the time. Key Responsibilities: Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and lead discussions with senior business leaders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in additional SAP Finance components (e.g., GL, Asset Accounting, Tax). Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (MM, SD, EAM). Experience in large-scale transformation programs or consulting environments. CPA designation is good to have. Mining industry experience with practical application (nice to have) Experiences on AP Invoice Posting by using VIM Vendor Invoice Management (very nice to have)
