Role SAP ABAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) ( Remote job )

Job Type: Long term contract (With initial 3 months probation)

Work Mode: Remote Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SAP applications using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Build and expose CDS Views, OData services, business objects, and service bindings for S/4HANA applications.
• Develop and enhance SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with RAP services (where applicable).
• Implement validations, determinations, actions, and behavior definitions within RAP business objects.
• Ensure Clean Core principles by minimizing custom code in the S/4HANA core and using extensibility options.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to analyse business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, debugging and deliver high-quality, optimized code.
• Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and development standards.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development with strong OOABAP skills.
• Strong hands-on experience with RAP on SAP S/4HANA (managed and/or unmanaged scenarios).
• Expertise with CDS Views, OData services (V2/V4), AMDP, and data modelling.
• Proficiency in modern development tools such as Eclipse/ADT and Git/version control.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA database features, performance tuning, and optimisation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and deliver
