- Base salary: $61,800 – $68,000 annually (dependent on location, experience, and internal equity).
- Annual Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) of up to $9,000.

About This Opportunity
Sales Development Managers (SDMs) are field sales representatives tasked with identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities across a variety of customer channels, including grocery stores, mass merchandisers, convenience & gas stores, restaurants & bars, and other food‑service establishments.
SDMs drive profitable sales, build collaborative partnerships, and expand the customer base within their designated territory.
Responsibilities
- Sell customer promotional plans, incremental displays, and equipment placements that align with Customer Marketing Agreements and business objectives.
- Evaluate outlet opportunities for existing and new large‑store customers.
- Develop customized business plans addressing critical customer needs.
- Collaborate with merchandising supervisors and order‑replenishment teams to ensure revenue and profit goals are met and inventory levels meet merchandising standards.
- Maintain high customer‑service standards and promptly resolve issues.
- Sell in promotional programs and ensure dealer compliance.
- Execute channel and customer promotions/programs aligned with national brand strategies.
- Proactively schedule territory and timing to maximize face‑to‑face selling opportunities.
- Assess inventory levels, forecast future inventory needs, and place orders on customers’ behalf to keep shelves and displays stocked.
- Build or modify displays, sections, end caps, racks, and coolers in line with company standards and programs.
- Lift, carry, and position product (up to 50 lb/22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of sales experience in the consumer goods industry.
- Minimum of 1 year in consumer products, direct store delivery sales, or major account management.
- Strong analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with a variety of computer applications.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record for the past three years.
- Personal vehicle available for use during working hours.
- Post‑secondary education preferred.
