Job Descprition: Reporting to the Manager, the staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for the assessment and treatment of clients/patients/residents incorporating best practice and evidence-based research. The incumbent will also be responsible for the supervision of students assigned to them.

Licenses

  • Registered Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

Education

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Other Education & Training

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Competencies

  • Communication skills

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability and willingness to travel within service delivery area
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.

  • Some assignments may require access to a vehicle for work.
