Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Specialist Dentist — Pediatric Dentistry role based in Abu Dhabi. The specialist will provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive, restorative, and minor oral surgical procedures as appropriate to pediatric practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patients, formulating treatment plans, performing clinical procedures, and managing dental emergencies in young patients. The role also involves educating children and caregivers on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options, as well as maintaining accurate clinical records and adhering to regulatory and infection-control standards. The specialist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support holistic care and may participate in case discussions, quality improvement activities, and patient education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Dentistry, with the ability to integrate medical and dental considerations in pediatric patient care.
• Advanced clinical skills in Pediatric Dentistry, including diagnosis, behavior management, preventive care, and restorative treatment for children.
• Competence in Oral Surgery procedures relevant to pediatric patients, such as extractions and minor surgical interventions when clinically indicated.
• Demonstrated expertise in comprehensive Dental Care, including preventive programs, caries management, and long-term oral health planning for children.
• Recognized dental degree and completed specialist training or equivalent qualification in Pediatric Dentistry.
• Proven experience working with children and adolescents, with excellent communication and behavior management skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, infection control, patient safety, and ethical standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and in a culturally diverse environment.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
