Registered Psychotherapist/ Mental Health Counselor

We are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Psychotherapists (RP), Registered Social Workers (RSW), and Mental Health Therapists to join our team in part-time, full-time, and subcontractor capacities.

Position Summary The successful candidate will provide psychotherapy and counselling services to clients experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress-related issues, relationship difficulties, and life transitions.

Clinicians may work in-person, virtually, or in a hybrid model, based on preference and client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy/counselling services to clients (individuals, couples, families as applicable)
• Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and progress monitoring
• Maintain timely, accurate, and professional clinical documentation
• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals when needed
• Provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and ethical clinical care
• Adhere to professional regulatory standards and clinic policies
• Participate in case discussions, peer consultation, and clinical supervision (optional/available)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Registration in good standing with one of the following regulatory bodies:
• CRPO (Registered Psychotherapist)
• OCSWSSW (Registered Social Worker / MSW preferred)
• Other equivalent regulated mental health professional designation (as applicable)
• Professional liability insurance (required)
• Experience providing psychotherapy/counselling to diverse populations
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Competence in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, EMDR, trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, solution-focused therapy, etc. (preferred)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Availability for evening/weekend sessions is an asset but not mandatory

Language Skills (Strong Asset)

• Fluency or working proficiency in South Asian languages is considered a strong asset, including:

Tamil, Hindi, Urdu, Malayalam, Bangla (Bengali), and Sinhala.
