Make a difference as a Behavioral Therapist, specializing in intensive behavioral intervention for children and youth with autism. In this impactful role, you will work across various settings, offering personalized services that drive skill development. As an Instructor Therapist, you’ll contribute to the growth of children in diverse environments—including homes, clinics, and schools.
This role emphasizes a family-centered approach, utilizing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to enhance skills and reduce challenging behaviors. You'll also actively engage with parents, providing support and updates on progress while fostering a collaborative dynamic. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and small group ABA-based instruction
- Support families with individualized behavioral programming
- Conduct behavior assessments and track progress
- Maintain detailed client records and administer skill acquisition programs
- Participate in agency initiatives to enhance services Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Autism and Behavioral Science
- 1 year experience with ABA programming preferred
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset Drive positive change in the lives of children and youth through committed behavioral support and skill development.
