Server/Waitress

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining a positive attitude.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
• Handle cash transactions and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed during service
• Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Follow all sanitation, health, and safety guidelines throughout the shift

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately
• Experience in hospitality or food industry roles is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent service standards
