This is a technical leadership role at a major OEM, heading OTA software development and diagnostics platform activities for next-generation vehicle controllers - spanning all major domains including autonomous driving, powertrain, body, cluster, and infotainment.

- Lead OTA software development and diagnostics platform activities for next-generation vehicle controllers across all major vehicle domains
- Design and develop safety-critical application software using Java/Kotlin or C++14 and above
- Serve as a key technical contributor, moderating the resolution of cross-disciplinary issues globally
- Evaluate and integrate open-source technologies into applications, considering performance, security, and compatibility
- Drive technological alignment across all stakeholders and provide technical guidance and coaching to the team
- Lead a team of 5+ engineers, managing delivery from development through production launch
- Work within an Agile development process and contribute to long-term innovation in OTA and diagnostics features

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Science
- 12โ15 years of professional experience in automotive software development, delivering to production quality
- 3+ years leading teams of 5 or more through program launches
- Strong embedded software development skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin
- Experience developing vehicle applications and platform diagnostics for ECUs across at least two vehicle domains
- Preferred: hands-on experience with OTA update features, diagnostics (ISO 14229-1), and cloud connectivity for embedded automotive targets
- Preferred: experience with vehicle communication protocols - CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DoIP, UDS, REST
- Preferred: familiarity with AUTOSAR (Classic & Adaptive), ASPICE, ISO 26262, and cybersecurity principles
- Preferred: experience with embedded Linux, Android, or QNX in real-time, distributed architectures
