HVAC Service & Sales Technitian

Harry’s Home Comfort is a trusted, locally owned business providing quality HVAC and home comfort services across Ottawa and surrounding area. We take pride in offering dependable, professional service to our customers. We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician with Sales experience to join our team on an on-call basis.

Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you’ll handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential HVAC and home comfort systems. This role is offering flexible scheduling and great earning potential through both service work and sales comissions

A company vehicle is provided for work use, please note that gas allowance is included.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on residential HVAC and home comfort systems.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers about service findings.
• Promote additional services or upgrades, earn 9% commission on all sales made (with a potential of bonuses, Incentives and promotion)
• Maintain accurate job records and ensure a clean, professional work environment.
• Follow all safety standards, including working safely at heights/TSSA regulations
• Be available for on-call work as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid G2 or higher driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in HVAC, related home comfort trades preferred.
• Gas Technician 2 certification
• ODP License certification
• 1-2 years HVAC experience is preferred
• Must have your own basic tools for servicing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Comfortable working at heights and in various conditions.
• Sales experience is a strong asset.

Compensation & Structure

• 9% commission on all product or service sales.
• Hourly pay range between $20-$30/hr - paid weekly
