Aerospace Technical Writer Position

Drive technical documentation for aerospace as a proficient Technical Writer. Engage with Subject Matter Experts and ensure detailed technical publications for the Department of National Defence's primary fleets. This Technical Writer role supports the Electronic Publications Manager and entails researching, creating, and updating technical materials. With a focus on aeronautics, you'll collaborate with diverse teams to ensure comprehensive documentation. Your expertise will guide the integration of aircraft modifications and necessary illustrations while maintaining high standards in writing and validation processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research for comprehensive technical publications
• Interview Subject Matter Experts to define documentation needs
• Integrate aircraft modifications into technical manuals
• Validate and prepare technical information documents
• Assist clients in using electronic manuals effectively Requirements:
• Diploma in aerospace or relevant military experience
• 5 years in technical publications preferred
• Proficiency in English with strong writing skills
• Knowledge of ATA-2200 & S1000D specifications
• Understanding of SGML, XML, and Arbortext Epic Editor Utilize your technical writing skills to produce accurate, high-quality aerospace documentation that supports mission-critical operations.
