Hair Stylist / Hair Dresser (India)

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Hair Stylist / Hair Dresser to join our premium salon team. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in hair cutting, styling, hair treatments, and client consultation. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring excellent client satisfaction and maintaining qualified hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Client Consultation

Conduct proper hair and grooming consultations to understand the client’s needs, preferences, and hair condition.

Suggest suitable haircuts, beard styles, and treatments based on face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle.

• 2. Hair & Grooming Services

Perform professional services, including:

Hair cutting and trimming

Hair styling and blow drying

Beard shaping and beard grooming

Hair colouring and highlighting

Hair spa and hair treatments

Hair straightening, smoothing, or other advanced treatments (if certified)

• 3. Hair & Scalp Care

Assess hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate treatments.

Educate clients about proper hair care routines and maintenance.

• 4. Product Knowledge & Recommendation

Guide qualified hair care and beard care products suitable for clients.

Recommend appropriate home care products for maintaining hair and beard health.

• 5. Hygiene & Safety

Maintain strict cleanliness and sterilization of tools, equipment, and workstations.

Follow all salon hygiene and safety protocols.

• 6. Client Experience

Ensure a professional, comfortable, and friendly experience for every client.

Build strong client relationships and maintain high service standards.

• 7. Team Collaboration

Work closely with the salon manager and other team members to maintain smooth salon operations.

Participate in training sessions and team meetings when required.

Required Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Hairdressing / Cosmetology / Professional Hair Styling.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a hair stylist or hairdresser in a salon.

Skills Required

• Solid hair-cutting and styling skills
• Expertise in beard shaping and grooming
• Good client consultation and communication
• Knowledge of hair colour techniques and chemical treatments
• Attention to detail, hygiene, and customer satisfaction

Working Hours

• As per salon schedule (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM, shift-based working hours).

Competitive salary based on experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
