Workshop Manager – Farm Machinery & Heavy Equipment

We are hiring an experienced

Workshop Manager

for our agricultural operations in

Ghana

.

This role is specifically for

candidates from India who are willing to relocate to Ghana

.

Role Overview The Workshop Manager will be responsible for maintaining tractors, dozers, excavators, loaders, JCBs, trailers, farm machinery, and other heavy equipment used in field operations.

The main focus of this role is to ensure

machine uptime, quick breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and smooth workshop operations

.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise mechanics, welders, electricians, fitters, and workshop helpers.
• Manage repair and maintenance of farm machinery and heavy equipment.
• Handle breakdowns quickly and reduce machine downtime.
• Maintain service records, job cards, and machine history.
• Plan spare parts, consumables, oils, filters, tyres, batteries, and critical items.
• Ensure workshop discipline, safety, and quality of repairs.

Required Qualification

• Diploma / Degree in

Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Diesel Technology, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance

.

• Candidates with strong hands-on workshop experience may also be considered.

Required Experience

• 8–12 years of experience

in heavy equipment maintenance, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, mining equipment, or fleet workshop management.

• Hands-on experience with

tractors, dozers, excavators, loaders, JCBs, hydraulics, and diesel engines

.

Required Skills

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Practical knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics.
• Ability to diagnose breakdowns and guide mechanics.
• Experience in spare parts planning and vendor coordination.
• Strong workshop supervision and field problem-solving ability.
