About HabotConnect (DMCC)
HabotConnect (DMCC) is a Dubai-based, bootstrapped, 100% remote company building a digital platform that connects parents with Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for children with learning difficulties. We operate in a high-ownership, accountability-driven remote culture where quality and clarity come before speed.
About the Role
Are you highly logical, detail-oriented, and obsessed with clear communication? As our Junior English Code (EC) Logic Writer (formerly English Code (EC) Logic Architect), you will serve as the crucial bridge between our Operations and Technology teams. Your core mandate is to write the mandatory "Logic Layer" in plain English before a single line of Python code is ever written.
You will be responsible for deconstructing complex business actions into simple, atomic rules that our software developers can follow blindly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Write Atomic Actions:
Write a single, concise one-line action in plain English for every movement of data.
- Enforce the "10-Line Rule":
Break down any action that takes more than 10 lines to explain into two separate, smaller components called "Byts" (Smallest Reusable Component).
- Apply the "Rule of And":
Split any action description containing the word "and" into two separate atomic actions.
- Document Transformation Logic:
Explicitly document the business rules or math for every action without relying on implicit calculations.
- Integrate System Gates
: Compile and integrate the Triangular Check (TC) validation logic and Deconstruction of Compliance into Yes/No (DCYN) gates directly into the English Code documents.
- Use System-Behavior Verbs:
Use only system-behavior verbs (e.g., "Calculates," "Transfers," "Validates") and strictly avoid human-behavior verbs like "Reviews" or "Decides"
Required Mindset & Core Competencies
- Zero Jargon Commitment:
The logic you write must be universally understandable by a non-technical person; you must strictly avoid terms like "Loops," "Arrays," or "Dicts".
- System-Focused Focus:
You must completely abandon all "Workflow" terminology and focus entirely on describing system behavior rather than who does the work.
- Analytical Clarity:
You possess strong problem-solving skills to map data lineage effectively and ensure zero ambiguity in written instructions
Onboarding & Success Path
Selected candidates must successfully complete a mandatory structured onboarding and training program. Engagement and progress during onboarding are closely monitored and form part of the probation evaluation. Failure to complete required training or demonstrate sufficient involvement may result in the offer being withdrawn.
What This Role Is NOT
- This is
NOT a Python coding or programming role; you are writing plain English logic.
- This is
NOT a standard workflow documentation role describing what people do
- This is
NOT a role for guessing; precision and strict adherence to rule guidelines are mandatory.
