Responsibilities

• Deliver a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, and texturizing treatments with precision and artistry.
• Perform specialized services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, nail care, and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
• Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations, including proper sterilization of tools like straight razors and implements used for hair threading.
• Provide excellent customer service by listening carefully to client needs, offering professional advice on hair care products, and upselling retail items effectively.
• Manage front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, checking in appointments, and handling retail transactions with retail math skills.
• Mentor junior team members and assist in store management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive salon atmosphere.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling techniques.
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and color theory to create customized looks for clients.
• Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management.
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members alike.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures including proper sterilization of tools like straight razors and implements used for hair threading.
• Ability to perform retail sales confidently through upselling techniques while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
• Familiarity with store management practices is a plus; previous experience mentoring or training staff is highly valued.
