Location: India (Remote/Hybrid)

CTC: ₹6 – 8 LPA
Location: India (All GWC Office Locations)
Employment Type: Full Time (No Remote)
Role Overview
We are looking for a strong BI Developer with end-to-end expertise in Tableau and Power BI, excellent analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience working directly with US clients. The ideal candidate can independently gather requirements, design dashboards, build scalable data models, optimize performance, and manage deployment/governance.
A strong foundation in SQL is mandatory, and experience in data engineering or data warehouse implementation is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Tableau (Primary Skill)
- Full-cycle dashboard development: requirements, wireframing, design, calculations, and publishing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, Tableau Prep, and Admin activities (projects, permissions, extracts, schedules).
- Performance optimization: reducing workbook load time, optimizing extracts, and best-practice calculations.
- Experience in governance: usage analytics, migration activities, site structure, version upgrades.
- Direct exposure working with US-based business stakeholders.
Power BI
- Expert in Power Query (M Query) transformations.
- Strong data modeling skills: star schema, relationships, normalization.
- Hands-on expertise in DAX, including time intelligence and performance optimization.
- Experience with Power BI Service: workspaces, refresh scheduling, gateways, RLS, and deployment pipelines.
SQL (Mandatory)
- Strong SQL skills across complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Ability to validate dashboard logic and debug data discrepancies directly using SQL.
Business Analyst & Client Interaction
- Requirement gathering, client workshops, UAT support, and end-user demos.
- Strong communication skills, especially working with US clients.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear BI specifications.
Data Engineering & Data Warehouse (Added Advantage)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension models, SCDs, schemas).
- Exposure to building or contributing to data pipelines using SQL, ETL tools, or cloud platforms.
- Experience in implementing or supporting data warehouse solutions (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server DW, etc.).
- Familiarity with data integration workflows, incremental loads, scheduling, and data quality checks.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to ETL tools: Tableau Prep, Power BI Dataflows, SSIS, Alteryx, Domo Magic ETL, etc.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of governance frameworks, deployment best practices, and BI center-of-excellence processes.

Qualification
