Job Description
As a Project Coordinator at SBIMF in Mumbai-BKC, your primary role will be to support Delivery Managers in the smooth execution of software development projects by coordinating across multiple teams and departments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Delivery Managers in planning, tracking, and executing development sprints
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely progress
- Tracking project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies
- Following up with stakeholders to ensure closure of action items, risks, and blockers
- Facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders
- Updating and maintaining all project documentation
- Facilitating Change Management process and communication with the Change Advisory Board
- Escalating delays, risks, and issues to Delivery Managers proactively
- Assisting in release coordination and post-release tracking
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 2-3 years of experience in a Project Coordinator / PMO / Junior Project Manager role in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and working knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Basic understanding of software development concepts
Preferred qualifications include prior experience supporting Delivery Managers, hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, exposure to production support or release management processes, and experience in regulated environments like BFSI.
