Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to support the timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers. The candidate will assist in loading and unloading materials, verifying delivery documents, coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff, and ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Assist with loading, unloading, and handling products safely during transportation.
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, and shipment documents before dispatch.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers.
- Support drivers with route coordination and delivery scheduling.
- Collect customer signatures and maintain proof-of-delivery records.
- Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Communicate delivery status and delays to supervisors and customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment.
- Follow company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
- Assist in inventory checks and warehouse operations when required.
Required Qualifications:-
- 1–2 years of experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse, or transportation support.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of delivery documentation and inventory handling.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with mobile devices, GPS, and delivery tracking systems is an advantage.
