As an Anesthesia & Pain Management Medical Coder based in Bangalore, your role will involve the following responsibilities:

• Code anesthesia and pain management procedures using CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II
• Review and interpret clinical documentation such as operative reports and physician notes for accurate code assignment
• Ensure alignment with payer-specific guidelines, Medicare policies, and federal coding regulations
• Collaborate with internal billing and audit teams to address coding queries and optimize claim outcomes
• Maintain productivity and accuracy benchmarks as per internal SLAs
• Stay current on industry updates, including CMS and NCCI changes relevant to the specialty

Qualifications Required:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or CANPC (Certified Anesthesia and Pain Management Coder), or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience coding Anesthesia and Pain Management cases for U.S based clients
