Accountant (Textile Yarn | Manufacturing | Import–Export)
Department: Finance & Accounting
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Mumbai
Experience Requirement:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (mandatory)
- Experience in Textile / Yarn / Manufacturing / Import–Export / Trading industry preferred
- Candidates with long-term stability in previous roles will be preferred
Education
- Not mandatory, however the following will be preferred:
- B.Com / M.Com
- CMA (ICWA) / CA (Pursuing or Inter)
Accounting & Compliance:
- Bookkeeping, accounting entries, and financial record maintenance
- GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance
- E-invoicing and E-way bill generation
- Preparation and finalization of accounts
- Handling statutory audits
Banking & MIS:
- Banking transactions, cheque preparation, and reconciliations
- MIS reporting and financial analysis
- Payroll support and salary processing
Import–Export & Logistics:
- Export and import documentation and invoicing
- Knowledge of DGFT, ICEGATE, and shipping terms
- LC handling and payment management
- Coordination with shipping lines and customs clearance
- Preferred experience in import-export accounting for textile yarn / manufacturing business
Inventory & Controls:
- Inventory and stock accounting with reconciliation
- Creditors and debtors reconciliation
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Monitoring advances and payments
Key Skills (Mandatory):
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally (must be well-versed)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance and INCOTERMS
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
