Accountant (Textile Yarn | Manufacturing | Import–Export)

Department: Finance & Accounting

Employment Type: Full-time

Location: Mumbai

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (mandatory)
• Experience in Textile / Yarn / Manufacturing / Import–Export / Trading industry preferred
• Candidates with long-term stability in previous roles will be preferred

Education

• Not mandatory, however the following will be preferred:
• B.Com / M.Com
• CMA (ICWA) / CA (Pursuing or Inter)

Accounting & Compliance:

• Bookkeeping, accounting entries, and financial record maintenance
• GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory compliance
• E-invoicing and E-way bill generation
• Preparation and finalization of accounts
• Handling statutory audits

Banking & MIS:

• Banking transactions, cheque preparation, and reconciliations
• MIS reporting and financial analysis
• Payroll support and salary processing

Import–Export & Logistics:

• Export and import documentation and invoicing
• Knowledge of DGFT, ICEGATE, and shipping terms
• LC handling and payment management
• Coordination with shipping lines and customs clearance
• Preferred experience in import-export accounting for textile yarn / manufacturing business

Inventory & Controls:

• Inventory and stock accounting with reconciliation
• Creditors and debtors reconciliation
• Fixed asset register maintenance
• Monitoring advances and payments

Key Skills (Mandatory):

• Strong hands-on experience in Tally (must be well-versed)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, compliance and INCOTERMS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
