Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Calgary, AB, with flexibility for occasional remote work.

The Chemical

Engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and executing chemical processes related to hydrogen production and renewable energy.

Key responsibilities include analyzing and testing chemical processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to process improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability. The role also requires maintaining detailed documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data and apply problem-solving techniques
  • Proficiency in Laboratory Skills with experience in chemical testing and quality assurance
  • Knowledge of the Chemical Industry, with a focus on green energy or hydrogen production being an asset
  • Hands-on expertise in Process Engineering, including designing and optimizing chemical systems
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clearly convey technical information
  • Strong understanding of environmental, health, and safety regulations related to chemical engineering
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in renewable energy projects or hydrogen production is a plus
  • Applicants must be a professional engineer or be eligible.
