Cell Biologist [$40 - $60/hr]

Role Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments using mammalian cell culture and transfection techniques
• Isolate and establish clonal cell lines and monitor cellular phenotypes
• Study the structure, organization, and function of cells and organelles
• Assess and document sources of experimental variability across different model systems
• Develop and optimize experimental protocols for reproducibility and scalability
• Collaborate closely with AI training teams to translate biological insights into high-quality datasets
• Communicate scientific findings clearly through well-structured written and verbal reports

Good Candidature

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience with mammalian cell culture
• Proficiency in transfection methods and clonal isolation techniques
• Expert understanding of experimental systems and variability across biological models
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and detail
• High level of organizational and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work independently and remotely with a cross-functional team

Nice To Have

• Experience with rubcris or similar gene editing platforms
• Previous involvement with projects for AI training or data labeling
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field
