Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing, target-driven Sales Professional who can take ownership of the complete sales cyclefrom lead generation to deal closure and payment collection. This role demands strong commercial acumen, technical understanding, and aggressive follow-up skills.
Key Objectives
Drive consistent revenue growth and exceed assigned sales targets
Build a strong pipeline of qualified B2B opportunities
Develop long-term client relationships and repeat business
Strengthen company presence in the industrial automation market
Core Responsibilities
Generate new business through cold calling, references, site visits, and networking
Handle complete sales cycle: Lead Inquiry Quotation Negotiation Closure Payment
Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations aligned with customer requirements
Actively follow up with clients to convert inquiries into orders
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and accounts teams for smooth order execution
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision-makers
Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and product discussions
Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and customer demand
Ensure timely payment collection and minimize outstanding dues
Maintain sales reports, pipeline data, and CRM updates
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Sales Target Achievement: Monthly / Quarterly (%)
Conversion Ratio: Inquiry to Order (%)
Revenue Generation: Absolute & Growth %
New Business Development: Number of new clients onboarded
Client Retention & Repeat Orders
Collection Efficiency: Payment cycle (DSO reduction)
Sales Activity Metrics: Calls, meetings, follow-ups
Must-Have Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in B2B / Industrial Sales
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing ability
Knowledge of automation/electrical products (PLC, Drives, Panels, etc.)
Familiarity with brands like Schneider, Siemens, ABB (preferred)
Ability to handle pricing discussions and margin management
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
High ownership mindset and ability to work under pressure
Good to Have
Existing network in industries like manufacturing, EPC, OEMs
Technical qualification (Diploma / B.Tech Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation)
Experience in automation trading companies
CRM tools and sales reporting exposure
