Marine Engineer

As part of the Department of Public Works, you will maintain and operate the ferries vital to the transportation network. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate main engines and monitor supporting systems
• Perform inspections and repairs on ferry equipment

Requirements

• Completion of Grade 12 and 3 years mechanical experience
• Small vessel machinery operator’s license preferred
• Valid Medical Examination and Marine Emergency Certificates
• Excellent teamwork with the ability to work independently
• Physically capable of handling lifting and diverse environments
