Administrative Assistant
AY3 Administrative Secretary 3 – Full time Term position in the Steinbach office.
Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, Transportation Operations, Highway Regional Operations – Eastern Region.
Salary: AY3 $48,569.00 – $56,928.00 per year.
Closing Date: June 2, 2026.

Responsibilities
- Provide confidential administrative and front‑line reception support to senior staff.
- Interact effectively with department employees, staff from other government agencies, and members of the public to ensure a high level of customer service.
- Process mail, file documents and provide general reception services.
- Use time‑keeping software such as SAP.
Qualifications
- Completion of post‑secondary education and/or training in administrative or clerical support (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
- Effective organizational and time‑management skills, ability to prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Experience handling confidential and/or sensitive information in a professional manner.
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
