Senior Data Engineer (Power BI)

As an experienced Power BI Developer with 45 years of hands-on experience, your role at Deepmindz Innovations will involve designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will be required to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Building and optimizing data models and DAX calculations, connecting and managing multiple data sources, and using GitHub for version control are also key responsibilities. Additionally, working with Microsoft Fabric tools like Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouses, and Pipelines will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring data accuracy, performance, and security, presenting insights clearly to stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and following best practices are crucial aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions
• Build and optimize data models and DAX calculations
• Connect and manage multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, etc.)
• Use GitHub for version control and collaboration on Power BI projects
• Work with Microsoft Fabric tools (Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Warehouses, Pipelines)
• Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security
• Present insights and reports clearly to stakeholders
• Maintain documentation and follow best practices

Qualifications Required:

• 45 years of experience in Power BI
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Good experience with SQL
• Hands-on experience with GitHub or Microsoft Fabric
• Good spoken and written English communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
