Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Farmer role located in Bengaluru. The Farmer will be responsible for day-to-day farming activities, including land preparation, planting, irrigation, fertilizer application, pest control, and harvesting. They will also ensure crop health through regular monitoring, maintain farming equipment, and identify ways to improve farm productivity. The individual will work collaboratively with the agricultural team to optimize harvest cycles and implement sustainable farming techniques where possible.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with planting, cultivation, and harvesting practices
• Proficiency in using and maintaining farming equipment and tools
• Experience in pest control, fertilizer application, and crop monitoring
• Familiarity with sustainable and organic farming methods is a plus
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in managing farming challenges
• Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
• Basic knowledge of agricultural safety standards and procedures
• A Diploma or relevant certification in Agriculture or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
