Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented System Administrator - Intern to join our IT team in Madurai. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and supporting the organization’s computer systems, servers, and networks. You will work closely with senior administrators to ensure smooth IT operations and deliver timely support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows-based systems and servers.
• Monitor system performance and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights on Windows servers and Active Directory.
• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and installations under the guidance of senior team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Support the deployment of Windows-based hardware and software as per company requirements.
• Learn and apply IT security best practices to ensure data integrity and system protection.
• Stay updated on basic concepts of networking, system administration, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-1 years of experience in system administration or IT support roles.
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11) and Active Directory basics.
• Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and network fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with an eagerness to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team environment.

Education

Diploma Or Bachelors in Any Specialization

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of security principles and network administration.
• Exposure to Office 365 administration or cloud-based systems.
• Willingness to work in rotational and weekend shifts.
• Proactive attitude and ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

Shift Timings: Rotational shifts (7.30 AM - 4.30 PM and 1.30 PM - 10.30 PM)
