Job Description – Accounting / Bookkeeper

Position: Accounting / Bookkeeper

Department: Finance & Accounts

Experience: 6 Months – 3 Years (Preferred)

Location: Globriddge International Private Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Prepare invoices, bills, and expense reports
• Manage and track company expenses and budgets
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper documentation of all entries
• Support in GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliance (as applicable)
• Coordinate with auditors and assist in audits when required
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with company policies and legal requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books)
• Solid knowledge of MS Excel
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation system
• Experience in financial reporting and compliance
• Familiarity with payroll processing
