Job Title: Production Chemist – Pharmaceutical Formulation

Job Summary

We are hiring a Production Chemist for a Pharmaceutical Formulation manufacturing company. The candidate will be responsible for handling production activities related to formulation manufacturing while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute production activities as per production planning and SOPs.
• Handle manufacturing operations such as Granulation, Compression, Coating, Capsule Filling, and Packing.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards during production.
• Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records (BMR), and related documentation.
• Monitor machine operations and coordinate with maintenance for breakdown issues.
• Ensure proper line clearance and cleanliness before starting operations.
• Minimize process deviations and report abnormalities to senior management.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and other departments for smooth operations.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and machines.
• Follow standard operating procedures and production schedules.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of GMP and documentation practices.
• Good communication and team coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation.
• Ability to handle shop floor activities efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria

• Experience: 3–5 years in Pharmaceutical Formulation Production.
• Qualification: M.Pharm / M.Sc / B.Sc.
• Experience in OSD manufacturing preferred.
