Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGST, LLC. is seeking a Scholarship Program Support Specialist will serve as the on-site team lead for the F. Hollings Undergraduate Ernest Scholarship Program. This person will support the student scholarship application, administrative review, and selection processes.

This position is contingent upon contract being awarded

Primary Duties:

• Works with NOAA Security Office to issue badges for scholars.
• Drafts and prepares correspondence for the Scholarships Program Managers' signature.
• Provides guidance support for junior contractor staff on the team.
• Maintains time and attendance and leave calendar for scholarship support contractors
• Reviews scholarship support contractor's reports for accuracy
• Maintains internship and mentor spreadsheets for an estimated 125-150 scholars
• Assists Program Managers where needed and fills in for Program Managers during vacation times, travel etc.
• Conducts other education and outreach activities in support of the education and scholarship programs, as needed.
• Submits content for Office of Education social media and web presence.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, education, or similar field
• 6-8 years of experience

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
