About the position
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Part-Time Service Desk Analyst.
Position Overview
The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to end users.
Responsibilities
- Provide Customer Service support via phone and email
- Provide Customer Service skills to technical and non-technical end users
- Patience and experience in working with non-technical users will be required
- Understanding and troubleshooting Active Directory
Requirements
- Associate degree in IT or higher, or the equivalent in work experience.
- Knowledge of desktop operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
- Experience working with the MS Office suite & browser-based applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PC Hardware configurations and troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience supporting users in the Manufacturing and/or Healthcare industry.
- Experience with Active Directory is a plus.
