About the position

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a Part-Time Service Desk Analyst.

Position Overview

The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to end users.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Customer Service support via phone and email
  • Provide Customer Service skills to technical and non-technical end users
  • Patience and experience in working with non-technical users will be required
  • Understanding and troubleshooting Active Directory

Requirements

  • Associate degree in IT or higher, or the equivalent in work experience.
  • Knowledge of desktop operating systems including Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.
  • Experience working with the MS Office suite & browser-based applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of PC Hardware configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience supporting users in the Manufacturing and/or Healthcare industry.
  • Experience with Active Directory is a plus.
