Job title: Social Media Videographer & Editor

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Location: Markham, Ontario

Role Description This is a full-time role for a Social Media Videographer & Editor. The person in this role will plan, shoot, and edit short-form and long-form video content optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Day-to-day work includes developing concepts with the marketing team, setting up and operating cameras and lighting, recording product demonstrations and lifestyle footage, and editing videos with transitions, sound, and graphics. The role also involves organizing and managing video assets, adapting content for various formats and aspect ratios, and ensuring all content aligns with Glacier Fresh brand guidelines and messaging. The Social Media Videographer & Editor will analyze performance metrics with the team to refine content strategies and continuously improve engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong videography and video editing skills.
• Proficiency with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
• Ability to manage shoots, coordinate interview subjects, and handle equipment.
• Creative sense of visual storytelling, lighting, and sound.
• Hands-on experience shooting video for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube).
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in film, media production, communications, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Ability to efficiently and independently edit
