We ask why they were done that way at all.</li> </ul></div><h2>The Role</h2> <p>As an Operations hire for Gigs for Work, you'll be the operational backbone of one of our fastest-growing verticals. This is a high-ownership, execution-focused role, where you'll own relationships with 50+ carriers across the globe, integrate them into our systems, and ensure every touchpoint operates with precision and consistency as we scale.</p> <p>You’ll work closely with Connectivity, Product, and Go-To-Market to turn local carrier agreements into long-term, high-functioning partnerships. This role rewards people who thrive on complexity, take pride in getting the details right, and can hold a lot of moving pieces without dropping any of them.</p> <h2>What you will do</h2> <ul> <li>Own carrier relationships end-to-end: from onboarding newly signed carriers to maintaining and deepening those relationships over time across multiple countries and regions.</li> <li>Lead carrier integrations into Gigs systems, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to make each launch smooth and scalable.</li> <li>Be the primary point of contact for carrier accounts: managing day-to-day communications, resolving issues quickly, and building trust over time.</li> <li>Work closely with Product to surface carrier feedback, flag operational blockers, and help shape tooling that reduces friction across the board.</li> <li>Build and maintain runbooks, documentation, and workflows that allow the team to operate consistently as we scale across new carriers and countries.</li> </ul> <h2>What we are looking for&nbsp;</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of hands-on operational experience in a high-performance environment in roles such as Product Operations, BizOps, and Strategy &amp; Operations at a fast-scaling tech company.</li> <li>Proven track record of managing external partners or vendor relationships</li> <li>Experience building scalable and automated operations from 0 to 1.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you can drive alignment and clarity across internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Highly organized and detail-oriented: you bring rigor to your work, stay ahead of open threads, and maintain a high standard of follow-through across every account and workstream. A collaborative, low-ego mindset and the ability to influence without authority.</li> <li>You’re a proven operator who gets up to speed fast, juggles context across multiple workstreams, and takes genuine pride in making complex things work reliably.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h2>Work At Gigs</h2> <p>At Gigs, we value in-person collaboration.
