About the Role

We are looking for highly qualified Computational Mathematics researchers to join a global scientific content development project. This role involves designing, solving, and reviewing advanced research-grade mathematical problems, with a strong focus on scientific computing and Python-based programming.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Computational Mathematics, particularly in Numerical Linear Algebra and Computational Mechanics, along with a strong academic research background.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original, graduate-level and research-grade Computational Mathematics problems.
• Create scientific coding and programming challenges using Python.
• Categorize problems, define difficulty levels, and assign appropriate tags.
• Develop accurate, logically sound, and well-documented solutions.
• Review and validate mathematical problems and solutions for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with reviewers and project leads to refine and improve content.
• Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and timelines.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computational Mathematics or currently pursuing a PhD.
• Specialization in Numerical Linear Algebra, Computational Mechanics, or related fields.
• At least one peer-reviewed publication in a recognized academic journal.
• Strong understanding of numerical methods, computational algorithms, and mathematical modeling.
• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Python for scientific computing.
• Experience with:
• NumPy
• SciPy
• SymPy
• Pandas
• Matplotlib
• Exposure to finite element methods (FEM), numerical optimization, scientific simulations, or high-performance computing (HPC).
• Experience conducting academic research and publishing scientific papers.

Availability Requirements

• Available to work 8 hours per day.
• Able to maintain at least 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST).
• Immediate availability preferred.
