Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Professor for the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The role is based on-site at our campus in Punjab, India.

Responsibilities include preparing and delivering high-quality lectures, conducting research, supervising student projects, and contributing to curriculum development. The candidate will also guide students in their academic and professional growth and participate actively in departmental and institutional activities to foster innovation in education and research.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in core Computer Science areas such as Algorithms, Data Structures, Programming, and Software Engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or others
• Experience in emerging technology domains like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Cloud Computing
• Ability to conduct scholarly research and publish in reputed journals and conferences
• Strong communication, presentation, and teaching skills
• Proficiency in using modern educational tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• A Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field (preferred); a Master’s degree with relevant experience may also be considered
• Familiarity with outcome-based education and accreditation standards like NBA/NAAC is an advantage
