As a Technical Writer , the work you' ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer's mission .
- Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including full diagram schematics , manuals, and operational procedures to ensure consistency in standards and clarity of processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management, workflows, and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather and organize technical information.
- Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current system s or requirements.
- Maintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories to ensure accessibility and traceability.
