GDIT has an opportunity for a JavaScript developer to support the modernization and sustainment of a large portfolio of enterprise business solutions used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The position supports a new program, the NASA Consolidated Applications and Platform Services (NCAPS) which consolidates enterprise-wide applications and platform services across the Agency and supports the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Application Division transformation into the Application and Platform Service (APS) Line with agile based service delivery and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) based service management practices.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Javascript with some ServiceNow development experience, though ServiceNow is not required.
Minimum requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience
. Proficiency in Javascript, including server-side and client-side scripting
. Experience working in an ITIL/Agile environment
. Experience with technical documentation, story refinement, and tracking code changes.
. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
. Strong communication and collaboration abilities in an Agile development and able to operate independently.
Great to haves:
. 3+ years ServiceNow experience
. ServiceNow certification: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer
. Proficiency in ServiceNow Glide APIs and infrastructure
· Experience building scoped applications, creating design documents for data models and process flows, service portals,
and general user experience.
. Experience building custom workflows in Flow Designer for approvals and business process automation.
. Strong grasp of ServiceNow's ITSM, SPM, and CMDB processes
