Job Title: Junior Meta Ad Video Editor (Part-Time)

About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Meta Ad Video Editor who is highly proficient in Capcut and Canva and has hands-on experience creating and editing high conversion ads extremely quickly (50-100 per day, can use AI tools for accelerated timelines) for D2C brands. This role is ideal for someone who understands visual trends, moves quickly, and can translate briefs into high-performing videos and ads.
Meta Ads Video Editor (Performance Creative)
- Own end-to-end video editing for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads, with a focus on high-volume output and rapid iteration
- Produce 50–100+ short-form videos per day when needed, using AI tools where possible, optimized for testing hooks, angles, and formats
- Use fast, efficient editing tools (e.g. CapCut, Premiere, After Effects) with a strong bias toward speed over perfection
- Leverage AI tools (e.g. auto-captioning, voiceovers, background removal, generative edits, batching workflows) to significantly increase output and efficiency
- Rapidly iterate on winning creatives by testing variations in hooks, pacing, text overlays, thumbnails, and CTAs
- Edit UGC-style content to feel native, authentic, and scroll-stopping (TikTok/Reels-first style)
- Collaborate closely with growth, creative, and media buying teams to understand what’s working and double down quickly
- Analyze performance signals (CTR, hook rate, watch time) and translate them into new creative iterations
- Maintain organized workflows for large volumes of assets, ensuring quick turnaround and version control
- Stay on top of trends in paid social creative, especially within D2C, supplements, and high-performing ad formats
Requirements
- Proven experience editing high-performing Meta ads or short-form performance content
- Strong proficiency in CapCut or equivalent high-speed editing tools (non-negotiable)
- Experience working in high-output environments (agencies, D2C brands, or content farms)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools and automation workflows
- Deep understanding of what makes ads convert (hook psychology, pacing, visual storytelling)
- Ability to prioritize speed and iteration without sacrificing core creative judgment
- Comfortable working under tight deadlines and rapidly changing priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience in D2C, supplements, beauty, or wellness brands
- Basic motion graphics skills for overlays, callouts, and visual enhancements
- Understanding of UGC sourcing and scripting to better guide edits
- Experience collaborating directly with media buyers or performance marketers
Success Metrics
- Volume of creatives produced per day/week
- Speed of iteration on winning concepts
- Contribution to improved ad performance (CTR, CPA, hook rate)
- Ability to consistently generate new, testable variations at scale
