Job Description Overview
The Senior Staff Technical Product Manager (TPM) for Pricing Solutions is pivotal within GE Aerospace's Sales & Marketing Commercial Operations. This role empowers the organization to implement strategic, accurate, and data-driven pricing across various products and services. You'll oversee the complete technical execution of pricing capabilities, ensuring our frameworks and tools are synchronized, automated, and scalable for our global sales and marketing initiatives.
In this dynamic role, you will partner closely with key stakeholders, including Pricing Strategy, Deal Teams, Data Science, and Development Engineering teams, to translate business strategies into comprehensive technical requirements, ensuring smooth delivery across intricate systems and data flows. Your focus will be on integrating pricing models, analytics, approval workflows, and customer-facing tools while championing standard practices, data integrity, and ongoing enhancements. You will lead the team with clear instructions and collaborate on evaluating what is feasible by balancing new features, addressing defects, and managing technical debt. Ensuring integration and alignment among a diverse group of stakeholders—such as Product Managers, functional stakeholders, Product Owners, and Developers—will be your top priority.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of product and industry to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Engage customers and stakeholders to gather VOC, refine requirements, and procure feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver major complex products and features.
- Possess a profound understanding of the technology stack and its impact on the final product.
- Work with UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams to resolve multiple issues and make informed decisions.
- Conduct interviews with customers and stakeholders, developing detailed personas.
- Utilize persuasive and influencing skills to align customer expectations with product management and engineering teams.
- Manage release and sprint backlogs for MVPs and quarterly releases.
- Continuously prioritize the backlog to ensure readiness for at least 1-2 sprints/iterations.
- Adapt priorities based on ongoing validation of customer needs and challenges.
- Exhibit strategic expertise in problem decomposition and navigate through ambiguous situations.
- Engage frequently with the development team (around 50% of the time) to facilitate discussions, provide clarity, perform story acceptance and refinement, testing, and validation; also contribute to design activities.
- Transform ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
- Collaborate with Development Leadership to promote a healthy development process.
- Mentor junior team members.
- Provide technical leadership across the organization and coach others in Agile Methodology.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of professional experience OR an Associate's degree with at least 8 years of professional experience OR a High School diploma with at least 10 years of professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technical product management.
- Note: Military experience is considered equivalent to professional experience.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or India is required. Sponsorship for employment visas will not be provided for this position.
