**Job Description**

Your role in our mission will involve monitoring database activity and file usage, ensuring necessary resources are present for databases to function properly. You will develop complex data retrieval queries, optimize data queries for performance, and analyze information as appropriate. Additionally, you will define logical attributes, design data structures, install and support complex systems, and provide work guidance to less experienced personnel. Acting as a technical project leader on assigned projects will also be part of your responsibilities.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
• Three or more years of experience in database design or maintenance
• Experience with software installation/upgrading procedures, file and system maintenance procedures, and database creation techniques
• Proficiency in performance modeling, benchmarking skills, and relational databases
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, anticipate problems, and take decisive action
• Willingness to travel occasionally
