Job Description

Role Overview: Lead and contribute to organisation's strategic initiatives by playing a key role in shaping and executing organizational strategies, fostering innovation, and ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive research and development for new programmes, including identifying and building external partnerships.
  • Design, incubate, and operationalize plans and pilot initiatives for new programmes.
  • Apply structured methodologies to create innovative, outcome-driven programmes and services for beneficiaries.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans for new initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects across different lifecycle stages, working in an agile manner under tight timelines.
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme development and execution.
  • Establish frameworks to measure programme outcomes, impact, and reach.
  • Support the development of communications and branding strategies for new programmes.
  • Contribute to additional organizational initiatives as required.
  • Lead the planning and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with long-term organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment between departmental priorities and overall business objectives.
  • Provide thought leadership and introduce innovative ideas to strengthen the organization’s competitive positioning.
  • Engage key stakeholders to build and strengthen strategic partnerships and alliances.

Qualification and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field;

alternatively, a postgraduate qualification in a development-related discipline.

  • 10–12 years of experience in the social sector.
  • Strong understanding of the social sector, with domain expertise in one or more key areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in commissioning and managing projects through third-party partners to achieve defined objectives.
