Fynd Create is Fynd’s AI-powered, end-to-end fashion manufacturing platform that enables brands to go from trend insights to finished products at speed. It integrates design, sourcing, manufacturing, and cataloging to help brands reduce go-to-market timelines and costs while maintaining quality.

We are looking for a Sourcing Head who will own the entire sourcing function end-to-end — not just manage it. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role where you will define strategy, build and lead vendor ecosystems, drive cost and quality outcomes, and operate as a key business partner to Fynd Create's leadership.

What will you do at Fynd?

Sourcing Strategy & Vendor Ecosystem

• Architect and own the multi-year sourcing strategy aligned to Fynd Create's product roadmap and global expansion.
• Build, curate, and continuously upgrade a best-in-class vendor network across India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and new geographies.
• Lead all strategic vendor negotiations — fabric, trims, CMT/FOB — driving significant cost savings without compromising quality.
• Establish vendor scorecards, tiering frameworks, and performance management systems that drive accountability at scale.

Cost, Quality & Compliance

• Own total cost of sourcing — from raw material procurement through finished goods delivery — and drive consistent FOB savings.
• Set and govern quality standards (AQL 2.5) across inline, final inspection, and factory audits; drive 98%+ first-pass quality.
• Ensure full compliance with sustainability frameworks — Higg Index, ZDHC, BCI, GOTS — and lead the function toward LCA targets.
• Manage risk: supplier concentration, geopolitical exposure, currency volatility, and supply disruptions.

Operations & Technology

• Drive adoption of Fynd's vendor portal and internal tools; champion data-driven decision-making across sourcing operations.
• Leverage digital sampling, 3D prototyping (Browzwear / CLO 3D), and trend tools to reduce physical iterations and calendar compression.
• Partner with the tech and product teams to shape the roadmap for AI-powered sourcing automation on the Fynd Create platform.
• Monitor BI dashboards and supply chain KPIs; lead escalation war-rooms when critical path milestones are at risk.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership

• Lead and mentor a team of production merchandisers, vendor managers, and sourcing analysts.
• Serve as the executive-level interface for sourcing with brand clients, internal stakeholders, and board-level reporting.
• Collaborate with Design, Planning, Logistics, and Finance to ensure sourcing decisions support business objectives.
• Represent Fynd Create at industry forums, trade fairs, and supplier summits globally.

Some Specific Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in fashion sourcing/supply chain, with at least 3–5 years in a head or senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of independently owning sourcing P&L, vendor strategy, and quality outcomes at scale.
• Deep expertise in garment construction, costing, critical path management, and Lean manufacturing across multi-geography supply chains.
• Proven negotiator — you've closed complex, high-value supplier agreements and know how to create win-win partnerships.
• Strong command of sustainability frameworks (Higg FEM/FSLM, GHG Protocol, BCI, GOTS) with practical implementation experience.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, tech-first, entrepreneurial environment—you thrive with ambiguity and move fast.

Strong Advantages

• Exposure to digital/AI-powered sourcing platforms, ERP systems, or technology-led supply chain transformation.
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools (Browzwear, CLO 3D) and trend-forecasting platforms.
• Experience sourcing for omni-channel or D2C fashion brands across export markets.
• Bengali, Vietnamese, or Mandarin language skills — a meaningful advantage for our key manufacturing geographies.
• Network of established, production-ready vendor relationships in South and Southeast Asia.
