Senior System Specialist (O365)

The Senior System Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Future’s enterprise IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments. This includes Windows Server, Azure AVS and Microsoft 365 (O365) services. Additionally, this role requires strong expertise in Windows security and Intune device management. Knowledge of Linux would be an asset. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, will have a functional role in mentoring other team members, and participate in strategic projects to ensure system reliability, security and scalability.

What you’ll be working on

• Manage and perform updates on all Windows Servers and core services.
• Administer and optimize VMware vSphere, Azure AVS, and SAN environments.
• Configure and maintain Microsoft O365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Phone, and OneDrive.
• Support Microsoft services: Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, GPOs, Clustering, IIS, and related web services.
• Support and maintain Citrix environments delivering core applications and services globally.

🛡 Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain Windows security measures and support security incident resolution.
• Manage endpoint protection tools and participate in security audits.
• Design and deploy highly available Azure solutions aligned with governance standards.
• Lead migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based environments.
• Monitor system performance and conduct proactive capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues across hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.
• Mentor team members and participate in off-hours on-call rotation.

We’re looking for someone with

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on Windows environments.
• Strong expertise in VMWare, Azure, SAN storage, Windows security, and O365 administration.
• Linux experience would be an asset.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting languages
• Solid knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting.
