Intermediate Windows Administrator

This individual is required to work well within a dynamic team environment, be a self-motivated learner. This person will be responsible to help manage and maintain Future Electronics Microsoft Technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and continuously improve the WSUS environment for Microsoft patch deployment and compliance.

Administer and support the Windows Server environment, including:

File Servers

Print Servers

DHCP and DNS Servers

Active Directory (AD) servers, user accounts, and security groups

Various application servers, including IIS and Web Applications

Assist in managing the organization's Citrix environment.

Support and administer the Microsoft 365 environment, including:

Microsoft 365 applications

Participate in the on‑call pager rotation.

Resolve Level 2 support tickets escalated from the Help Desk team.

Support and maintain additional enterprise technologies, including:

VMware infrastructure

Experience

2-3 years of experience in Windows-based network and systems administration.

2-3 years of experience in desktop support, system setup, and deployment.

Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience with Active Directory administration.

DHCP

Experience with scripting languages such as VBScript or PowerShell is considered an asset.

Experience working in virtualized environments (VMware) is an asset.

Microsoft and/or VMware technical certifications are considered an asset.
