Job Title: Microsoft Intune Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days Onsite)

Experience: Minimum 5 Years and Not more than 10 Years

Overview

Client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Intune Engineer to own endpoint management, device security, and identity integration for a distributed, remote-first workforce. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing modern endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing device environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Endpoint Management & Security

• Configure, deploy, and optimize Microsoft Intune across corporate devices.
• Design and enforce configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security baselines.
• Manage application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Implement modern patch management and automated update strategies.
• Implement and manage Windows Autopilot for zero-touch device provisioning.

Identity & Access Management

• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Implement Conditional Access policies and identity governance controls.
• Ensure secure authentication and device-based access enforcement.

Device Compliance & Monitoring

• Develop and enforce endpoint compliance and security standards.
• Monitor device health, performance, and security posture.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and remediate endpoint-related issues proactively.

Endpoint Strategy & Automation

• Partner with IT leadership to refine endpoint management strategy.
• Build automation workflows and SOPs to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and processes.

User Support & Escalations

• Serve as escalation point for device and endpoint-related issues.
• Support remote workforce needs across Windows and macOS environments.
• Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune (configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployment).
• Proven experience implementing and managing Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and identity governance.
• Experience supporting remote-first environments across Windows and macOS.
• Proven experience with endpoint security, compliance, and patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work in fast-paced, autonomous environments.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder collaboration.
