Job Description
we have developed a cabinet-maker plugin for Vectorworks and now need a hands-on, detail-oriented cabinet maker who already works confidently inside the software Vectorworks reguarly.
Your role is to install the plugin, work with it exactly as you would on real-world cabinet projects, and push every function until you're certain whether it behaves reliably or not.
Because I'm still unsure where glitches may appear, I'm counting on you to explore the full workflow—drawing, editing, generating cut lists, switching views, and exporting—while noting any freeze, crash, or odd behaviour you encounter.
Please capture repeatable steps, relevant files, and brief screen recordings whenever possible; stability is the priority, but any observations on design accuracy or general usability are welcome.
Deliverables
- A concise test log that pairs reproduction steps with screenshots for each bug or crash
- A short summary highlighting overall stability, areas that felt smooth, and any critical improvements you'd recommend
If you regularly craft kitchen, bathroom, or office cabinetry in Vectorworks and can dedicate focused time to thorough testing, I'd love to get your expert feedback.
Contract duration of more than 6 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills:
CAD, Bug Reports, VectorWorks
