Build V1 Construction Inspection App

I'm the founder of CHIPPIES, a platform being developed for carpenters and construction trades.

The first module is a mobile inspection workflow used on construction sites to record fire door installation measurements and checks, then generate a clear result and a shareable report.

The goal is to build a fast, reliable field-use app that allows users to complete an inspection in roughly 30–60 seconds per door.

V1 Workflow

• Create job
• Create door record
• Enter measurements (millimetres)
• Hardware and seal checks (simple toggles)
• Optional photo capture
• Run assessment
• View result
• Export/share report (PDF or similar)
• View past assessments (history)

The interface should be simple, fast, and usable on construction sites.

Deliverables

A working V1 prototype including:

• Mobile inspection workflow
• Backend logic to process and store results
• Report generation (PDF or similar)
• Photo storage
• Basic authentication
• Clean data structure (jobs / doors / assessments / photos)

Technology Stack

• understands backend architecture

The focus is correct system behaviour and reliability, not visual design polish.
