Job Description

I'm looking for an experienced developer to finish and stabilize a nearly completed fantasy golf mobile app built with React Native (Expo) and Supabase.

The app is already about 90–95% complete, but I need a skilled developer to review the codebase, fix the remaining backend/database issues, and ensure the entire system works 100% smoothly and reliably before launch.

Tech Stack

• React Native (Expo)
• TypeScript
• Supabase (Postgres, Auth, RLS, Edge Functions)
• DataGolf API (for tournament scoring)
• EAS build pipeline for iOS

Current Status

The app already includes:

• User authentication
• League creation and join system
• Draft room UI
• Player database
• DataGolf API integration
• Edge functions for scoring
• Working mobile builds through Expo

However there are still some issues that need to be resolved.

Primary Tasks

• Fix Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) issues affecting league creation
• Ensure all database policies and permissions are correct
• Review and stabilize backend logic
• Validate the scoring pipeline from the DataGolf API
• Ensure league creation, draft system, roster management, waivers, and matchups work correctly
• Debug and fix any remaining issues
• Ensure the app runs smoothly and seamlessly end-to-end

Goal

Deliver a fully functional fantasy sports app where users can:

• Create and join leagues
• Draft golfers
• Manage rosters
• Pick up free agents
• Compete in weekly matchups based on PGA tournament results

Ideal Developer

Looking for someone with strong experience in:

• Supabase (especially RLS policies)
• React Native / Expo
• Postgres
• API integrations
• Debugging and stabilizing existing projects

Bonus if you've worked on fantasy sports apps or sports data platforms.

Project Goal

I want the app to be 100% functional and ready for launch, with all features working exactly as intended and no critical bugs.

Please include:

• Examples of React Native apps you've built
• Any Supabase projects you've worked on
• Experience with RLS or Postgres policies

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
